The Ford F250 Super Duty is a full size, heavy duty truck that can handle the toughest jobs. The all-new 2017 model has raised the bar for this category – the strong frame, light body, roomier interior and amazing technology make this truck a stand out. The Super Duty has the power and durability to work as hard as you do. It has a best-in-class maximum payload (1166 Nm of torque and 328 kw of power), conventional towing capabilities with standard trailer sway control, and excellent fuel efficiency – no wonder the F-Series has been America’s top selling truck for the past 40 years.

You can choose between the 6.2 litre V8 that has an output of 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque or the 6.7 litre turbodiesel V8 that puts out 440hp and 925 lb-ft torque. Both have six speed automatic transmission, rear wheel drive with the 4WD option. The high-torque performance means you can push this beast to the extremes with its big, strong gears that can take on heavy demands.

The interiors range from hard working to luxury, depending on the model – the XL is a no-nonsense work truck with vinyl floor and upholstery, whereas the King Ranch has heated leather seats with 10-way power adjustments for the driver, with a huge range of features to choose from.

The towing capacity of this beast is 5 tonne GCM, and when you consider the trailer sway control and the integrated trailer brake controller, towing a big load is safer and easier – you have more control over the load, giving you more confidence.

And don’t forget the safety features – the antilock brakes, stability and traction control, hill start assist and airbags are all standard but there is a range of optional safety features like rear-view camera, trailer tow camera system, adaptive cruise control to make your ride safer and easier.
