The F350 Super Duty is a heavy duty pickup truck that can haul heavy loads – it’s a big truck for big jobs. Choose between the 6.2 litre gasoline V8 that gives you 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque or the turbocharged 6.7 litre diesel V8 that puts out 440 hp and 925 lb-ft of torque. And it’s not just the size of the engine you get to choose – Ford gives you a wide choice of fitout, whether you want a vehicle ready for tough jobs or a fully decked out, high-end truck to drive in comfort.

 

If  you want to pull a big load, you can’t go past the F350. The high-strength steel used on the large frame rails and crossmembers and the integrated hitch receiver that extends farther into the frame means you can pull conventional trailers up to 18,000lb when fitted with single rear wheels and 21,000lb with dual rear wheels. With fifth-wheel trailers, it goes up to 27,500lb and gooseneck trailers max out at 32,000 pounds. And don’t worry about the performance. The lightweight aluminium body panels help to offset the heavy steel and the TorqShift six-speed automatic transmission means you have plenty of power.

 

The F350 shares the tray features and cabin with the other trucks in the new F range – the tray options now include stowable cargo ramps, the handy tailgate step and LED lighting. The cabin is roomier and comes with a wide range of options, depending on which of the 5 models you choose. Features include adaptive steering, a sunroof, keyless ignition, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, a navigation system and an 8-inch centre touchscreen.
